Owner groups allow fine-tuning access to assets/locations, and their related objects including work orders. They can be configured at assets and locations for maximum flexibility. The feature of owner group by location simplifies owner group management when assets in a location are of a same owner group.
- Checkbox "Set Owner Group" of the location object allows one to manage owner groups by location.
- When checked the location's owner group is applied to the assets of the location.
- The checkbox should not be used if assets in a location may belong to different owner groups.
