Requisition approval by department is available in the coming release of R2025a. It allows an organization to manage requisition approvers based on departments.

  • Calem will search the approval list (screenshot below) to find an approver/team based on department approval. If found the Approver or Approval Team are populated when a REQ is ready for approval.
  • Only REQ approvers can modify the Approver or Approval team for a REQ.
  • Configurations are available to turn off the approval by department - see Admin Guide for more info.

A user or team can be assigned to approve requisition by a department set or department. An approver (team) can be set for all department (by "All Dept?" checkbox).

  • Menu: Organization | ACL Profiles | REQ Approval

 A department set can be provisioned to include many departments.

  • Menu: Admin | Data Design | Dept Set

 Finally, a department code needs to be set in a REQ for the approval by department to work.
